Jacqui Seaborg
ACCS welcomes Jacqui Seaborg as our music teacher. Jacqui
is a recent graduate of the University of Delaware with
a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. While at the University,
she kept very involved in performing, teaching, and leadership
experiences. She was a section leader in the University
of Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hen Marching Band, the manager
of the Pep Band, Vice President of her college Music Educators
organization, and President of Sigma Alpha Iota, International
Women’s Music Fraternity. Jacqui also stayed very
involved in the community and sat on the administrative
board of the Delaware Music Educators Association.
Recent
credits to her name include the 2005 recipient of the National
College Leadership Award from the National Executive Board
of Sigma Alpha Iota. In addition, she presented with the
Delaware Music Educators and fellow college students at
the Music Educators National Conference in 2004 in Minneapolis
and 2005 in Baltimore.
Jacqui
also stays active in a variety of other music experiences.
She is currently on staff in the summer with the University
of Delaware Wind Ensemble Camp and is teaching privately
through the Kniskern Music House in Clifton Park. She is
a current member of Sigma Alpha Iota Alumni Association,
MENC: The National Association for Music Educatiors, NY
State School Music Teachers Association, and NY Gordon Institute
for Music Learning.
