At the Ark
Community Charter School we believe children's work is at
the center of their education. By work we mean products
created that demonstrate what the children have learned.
We believe children learn best and are the most engaged
in learning when they are thinking critically and being
creative. We expect academic excellence from all of the members of our community and we follow a rich, integrated curriculum. ACCS uses Scott Foresman programs in ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies. These programs arescientifically based and are aligned to the NYS Standards.
