The Cimarron Mule

The mule is brought from Spain to Puerto Rico by ship and is sold to a new owner. (Diarama created by Ashley and Aa'seef)

 The mule is worked very hard and mistreated by the new owner. The only one who treats the mule with kindness is a slave who is treated as badly as the mule. (Diarama created by Tayla and Keyaunte)

The slave and the mule escape from the cruel owners. They travel through the woods and hide in caves. (Diarama created by Joey and Kelsey.)

 The slave and the mule arrive safely at the village of Cimarron which was a haven for escaped slaves in Puerto Rico. The mule has a place of honor in the village for helping one of the slaves escape. (Diarama created by Giselle and Tyler.)
