PAM'S ART CLASSES - Diaramas

El Coqui
by Nicholasa Mohr ad Antonio Martorell

Huracan, the Tiano God, creates the island of Boringquen (Puerto Rico). (Diarama created by Sarah and Brianna)

Huracan is unhappy because the world is so silent. There is no nusic to make him happy. He creates a great storm which lasts for a million years. (Diarama created by Dertwaan)

Huracan is tired after making such a big storm and falls asleep. When he wakes up he hears a strange sound - coqui, coqui, coqui. Huracan searches the island for the sound. (Diarama created by Michael and Zuleyka)

As he rests under a mango tree, Huracan feels something in his hand. It is a tiny frog singing coqui, coqui. All the animals begin singing with the frog and Huracan is happy. (Diarama created by Melanie and Keela)
